Long queue and very long wait. Famous for its Chirashi. Is the wait really worth it? With only 4-5 tables available, this is why there's long wait with approx an hour for now.. Takeaway is available but you'll still have to wait for about half an hour.  (Side track- Find they've good advertising methods. Adorable logo name card as chopstick holder and you can find the "bear paw" stickers on the floor at Thomson plaza giving direction to its stall lol )

What have we tried?

We wanted to try the Omakase Sushi (7 pcs at $28.80) but its not available due to shipping delay. Will try next time and maybe give a review.

Firstly the acclaimed Bara Chirashi ($12.80). 4 types of assorted raw seafood: the salmon, tuna, prawn and octopus. Find its marinated quite well and taste really good. Portion quite small but with its zero gst/service charge.. Would rate this 5/5!!

We actually returned the next day for takeaway and tried the Kaisen Don ($14.80), taste pretty much the same with an additional marinated Unagi I suppose. Prefer the Bara, more texture I guess.

We also tried the Glazed duck with onsen egg donburi ($14.80)

.. Dislike. Maybe it will taste different if you dine in.

Ok, Back to the day when we dine there. The Aburi smell so good so we decided to order the Sushi Nigiri Set. Ordered the Torched Mental Sushi but order came wrongly with just Torched Sushi, 5 kinds of torched Sushi ($8.80) - Sake, Magura, Mekajiki, Tamago and Unagi. We also ordered additional Salmon Aburi- torched Salmon sushi ($2.80/2 pcs)

Nothing interesting, taste quite "meh" (bland? Something is lacking).... Surprisingly Sushi express have one of the best Salmon Aburi. Taste better than this and also most other sushi chains. Go try! With only $1.50++ a plate (2 pcs)

Salmon Sashimi ($4.80/3 slices) normal too.. Rather thin and not those that will melt in your mouth. Lastly the hot green tea is also in small cup.. Will definitely return for the Chirashi but other than that nope. Maybe the omakase set will surprise us, shall see.
